128 Scout - Day 25: Mostly yard work
Today I got the entire lawn mowed at a more usual height. It took a little over 2 hours, but I think that I can probably improve that time in the future once I work out an efficient routine. I also did some trimming with dad's old weedeater, but I didn't trim everything that probably should have been. While I was doing that, dad came over with his machete and cut down some of the brush around the burn pile, so hopefully we can light it off tomorrow and not burn down the neighborhood. I also sprayed some more weed killer around the foundation of the house, the shop, and the well house.
After we got some dinner, dad and I went back to the new house with the trailer. We hauled the wheel barrow and some concrete blocks that I picked up from Home Depot down and unloaded them, then loaded the mower onto the trailer and brought it to the parents' house so that I can mow their lawn tomorrow. I'll need to change the oil first as I've pretty much reached the 5-hour break-in mark, and then I'll have to make short work of it so that I can get down to Jones Creek by 10am, because my mattress is supposed to be delivered between 10 and 2 tomorrow.
I feel like there's something else that I did that I'm forgetting to write down, but I can't seem to think of what it would be. ::shrug:: ?
