Last Night's Dream and more...
So there I am, auditioning for some stage show and I'm singing "Don't Rain On My Parade" (really well actually), but then I realize, I'm doing it in my underwear. Normally this is where everyone that's normal would freak out, but then I realize that I'm doing it in my favorite underwear, my Abercrombie & Fitch Active Shorts. When I see that, I just keep on going, even more excited. I guess I always was a bit of an exhibitionist.
But I digress...
So I'm belting it out and the people that are running the audition are two of my old performing arts teachers, Elisa & Bruce, and these 3 guys I used to go clubbing with back in the day, Mikey, AJ & Antwan. And AJ is checking my ass out and telling me all these naughty things he wants to do with it. I know i know...It's rediculous, but I had no control...After all, it's my dream. I can be naughty if I want to.
After I finish my number (and shouldn't every dream have a musical number??), I get off the stage and suddenly, I'm in a bar. But something feels weird. I don't feel like myself. That's when I realize that Miss Hannigan, Rooster & Lily St. Regis (all the characters from the movie Annie; Carol Burnett, Tim Curry & Bernadette Peters) are holding me hostage.
As they're bringing me through the bar, this Italian couple stops me and wants to talk to me. This is where I should be telling them that I'm being held hostage, but I don't. They ask me how old I am in Italian and I reply "Venti-Quattro" (which is Italian for 24--Trust me, I took it for 7 years and I speak it perfectly in my dream) and I move on.
Then, as if the camera cut again, I'm suddenly in the woods, driving what seems to be a getaway car, trying to escape the aforementioned baddies and I'm hiding and I hear Little Orphan Annie singing "Maybe", and after all, why WOULDN'T she be there??, the rest of the cast of the movie is!!
But then just before I could try to make some sense in it, or at least undo the awful permed out afro she has and give her a lesson in makeup, I woke up.
So sad but true. I truly believe that this is what happens when you eat Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies in the middle of the night. They're evil.
I don't know what ANY of this means, nor do I think I want to know. I think that going to Jerzey's Gay Pride festival last night had something to do with it. Most of the people there were just too gay to function.
I have to say though, I had a really good time. I was drinking since two in the afternoon and I stopped somewhere around 11 that night. I met alot of really awesome people, hung out with mostly lesbians, and ended up at Paradise.
The vibe in the place was SO good. This is what it should be like to go out EVERY time! Everyone seemed so happy (it could've been the alcohol though) and the place was PACKED beyond belief... I ended up having to leave at 11 because I was almost too drunk to get home...not good... But I made it here to tell the tale...
My body still hurts from all the dancing and working out. Oh, didn't I tell you? I joined a gym!! I am officially a member of NYSC (New York Sports Club)!! Whoo Hoo!! My friend Michelle is a personal trainer there (normally a $200 value, I get for free! ::snaps fingers::) and she's working me out so I can get all toned and stuff...WHEEEE! I can't wait!!
She's done a good job so far because my abs hurt and so do my lats (that the part of your shoulder right near your armpit, for those of you who are workout challenged lol)...
I have to go to the gym again today, at least to do cardio. I dunno if I'll be able to do weights again. My arms and abs right now might run up the white flag if I do...
In other news...
I did meet another boy. His name is Mike, he's from the Bronx, 23 and adorable. I think he's puerto rican but I'm not sure yet. He's just about as sweet as he can be, but I still don't think that I wanna jump into anything. I'm having alot of fun being a free man.
Besides, if I'm going to do some renovation on myself, I'd rather not drag anyone else through the process... If all goes well, there'll be plenty of me to go around when I'm done hahaha!!
Well it's 12:04 now and I should start my day...::yawn::...::rubbing eyes::...
