Pretty good weekend
Well, Thanksgiving was good. I think I managed to not gain any more weight this past week, and THAT is most definitely a happy thing. I didn’t lose, but hey, it was Thanksgiving after all. I think I did pretty well. Now I just have to stop eating pie and get back on track, hehe. I went roller skating Friday night for about an hour and burned off half a day’s worth of food! Probably would have stayed longer but my foot blistered within 20 minutes of getting there. Pretty annoying. But I saw one of my co-workers there. Small world sometimes. And she had the CUTEST kids. So then Saturday I was just hanging out with Jason most of the day until he had to go to work. Then I did some homework and went over to Melinda’s and hung out with her and watched Johnny Depp in “Chocolat”. He’s so hot. Yummmy. It kills me that he’s from Owensboro. It’s just hard for me to believe a town like that can produce someone so gorgeous. Oh well. George Clooney is from Lexington, so there’s another mind-boggler. Yesterday was wonderful. Jason and I lay around all day and watched TV. We haven’t done that in AGES. Not since our first apartment I think. It was nice. Relaxing. Peaceful. Quiet. I got a lot of knitting done and we played a lot of Mario Kart. Those are my favorite kind of days; when we get to spend the whole day together relaxing and cuddling. Mmm. I love my baby so much. I’m very thankful to have him in my life. And if anyone ever tries to convince him to leave, I’ll smack a bitch.
