Lonely

I did some thinking (I know, very dangerous...). I am glad this job will be over soon. I'm surrounded by people all the time, even when I sit here at the library. Somehow, in this sea of people, I feel a bit lonely. I can't really connect with the kids, and no one is at the library for a chat. I look forward, anxiously, to the time when I can

You're an introvert? This must have been before you walked across the hall and said, "I think I'll latch onto you" oh so long ago in the hallowed halls of Ellicott.

I'm not sure if I fully want to understand myself. It seems like it would take some of the fun out of living. It's sort of like when you're a kid and you see a magic trick for the first time. You're facinated and in awe, but if someone tells you how the trick works you're no longer as interested because the curtain has been removed.
