Waking Up
I woke up this morning at 7:15 and went to school. Hannah and I dropped my brother off so he could go stand in the courtyard and be a big high schooler. Weird. Then we went to Pat's, but I couldn't eat anything because of the morning sickness due to the pregnancy pills. Then we drove back to school and hung out with Mrs. Bryce and Mrs. J for an hour during their planning and they got absolutely nothing done thanks to us. It was so good to see them though because I miss them both terribly! I wish they were coming with me. We were there when the bell rang too and we got to see everyone changing classes. It's crazy how in three months I can go from being super-involved in a place to feeling like I don't even belong. It's good though. Because it is their turn to be seniors, and it's my brother's turn to just be a high schooler. I will always love Piedmont. So many memories. I don't think I could have asked for a better high school, but it's definitely time to move on. I recognize that now more than ever.
