"You don't have to say it back, I just wanted you to know. All I know is you never have to explain or apologize to me."
Oliver's tear-streaked face looked up at her her. "Okay?" she asked softly, gently wiping tears off his cheek.
"Hey..Oliver, you with us?" Tommy's voice brought him back.
Oliver was brought back to realizty with the scene of Lenaia's arrival behind Roy. She was smiling as she watched Thea * Roy kissing and then she looked up when Tommy touched her elbow, and indicated the now approaching Oliver.
"Hi.." he seemed genuinely pleased to see her there. Tommy quietly faded into the background with the knowledge the young resident wasn't there to see him; not that he minded. Oliver deserved to be happy.
Lenaia wasn't expecting it, but she found herself enveloped in his arms. "You lkay?" she asked in his ear.
"Yeah.." Oliver said after a moment longer of holding her. He realized her and held her at arms' length.
"I'm glad you were finally able to make it down."
"Well, I had to check on my fellow member of the walking wounded club."
Oliver looked in the direction Tommy had gone, a look of understanding coming into his eyes.
"How's he doing? Has he been having any more pain?"
"Not that he mentioned to me."
Thea and Roy came up to them. "I'm gonna go now, Ollie."
Oliver cut her a break, considering the night that she just had, "Are you alright to drive?"
Thea kissed her big brother's cheek, before taking Roy's hand. "I'm okay. Love you."
"Ove you too." Oliver managed a smile.
"Your bar's still open right?"
"What can I get you? Are you still on duty?"
"Nope. As a matter ofd fact, I was just getting off shift."
"Margarita?"
"Sounds good. Thanks."
She followed him back to the bar.
An eyebrow went up when One Direction started playing. The bartender slid a newlymade margarita across the counter to her. "Mahalo.."
"You're welcome."
It was on Oliver's lips to apologize when he emerged form his 'bunker' twenty minutes later, but Lenaia wasn't at the bar where he had left her.
"Hey, Gar.." did you see where the doc went?"
"She said she was going home." Gary gave Oliver a knowing look, which he ignored.
He started to go back the way he came, being stopped by a waitress that had a note Lenaia had for him.
"Sorry I had to go. Will see you for dinner at your house tomorrow."
L."
Oliver decided that he didn't want to wait until the next day.
