Things are going to start getting brighter
I went to Super Cuts today. I didn't get the quality I get from my barbers at home, but I didn’t know of any sure things around here, so I went for the economy deal. I really had no choice. It’s getting far too nice out for me to keep hiding under my knit Pats hat. Walking around in short sleeves today made me feel a little bit like I was naked. Long winter I guess.
Another Tuesday night with Matt Germak went alright. When I first got in the room & took a look at an easy chart, I felt like I was having a really bad night. It turned out that it wasn’t just me. Everybody kept missing cues & going to wrong sections & rushing & we may have spent more time laughing than practicing. I’ve never been the only guitar player in an all-original band before. The other day I realized that I actually have the freedom & ability to make the guitar part whatever I want it to be. I can add all kinds of riffs & countermelodies at my discretion & I didn’t have to write the song. That’s such an awesome feeling.
