Was anybody else wondering if they are allowed to give an MVP to a kicker? What was with all of those punts in the first half anyway? That really slowed the game down. That & all of those flags. Apparently almost nobody took to the streets. We got an email from the Berklee VP last week that said do what ever you want. You’re adults so don’t be idiots. I’m assuming that BU students got a more serious warning. That’s the only way I can explain it. The people on the news were talking about PSAs they were running, which I haven’t seen because I don’t own a TV. Was anybody else trying to figure out if Paul McCartney was pulling an Ahslee Simpson? The sound was just so polished. Nobody would expect Paul to be the type to do something like that. I’m pretty sure it happens a whole lot more than anybody thinks it does though.
Everything Massachusetts has been winning in sports has already been paid for by the loss of the presidential election. I guess the conservative White House just gives the people more money to put into sports. Go Massachusetts’ economy! Hey & what’s the deal with that whole president calling the locker room thing? Did they realize that was stupid & stop doing that or did they just not show it on Fox 25? If they got rid of that then they should really get rid of that whole imperialist pre-game stuff too. If I got to be in one of those I wouldn’t feel honored at all. Who wants all of America watching you & at the same time thinking, “When the Hell the Super Bowl is coming on?” If people actually cared, they wouldn’t need to put it in a stupid football game just to get people to watch. You know, they should have a “ceremony” channel just for things like that. 24 hours of “we present.” They could give everybody who ever fought in a war the 15+ minutes on cable they deserve. & when they run out of original programming they could show reruns of the Grammy Awards. I think the whole thing could be very inspiring if done right.
