A lot of TV networks are starting to put their shows online quickly and at high quality. Kudos to Fox for having superb video quality as well as for generally putting their shows online the day after the new episode aired. I generally prefer watching the shows online because (1) there are way fewer commercials and (2) I can watch whenever I want to.
What I find bizarre is how Fox is treating House, MD. So far, the episodes have come out a week and a day after they air, so you can never catch up on the show to watch it live without having missed an episode. I can understand not making shows available online - syndication contracts are wacky. I really cannot understand scheduling the online updates so that you can never catch up. I have to assume that there is some really whacked out clause in the contract or something.
