Good Old Games

Good Old Games has a great business model. They sell older PC games as downloads on your PC. The games have all DRM removed, so you're buying a game you loved in the past (or always wanted to play) for $6 to $10. You can always download again. You can always move the game to another computer. Yes, the games are perfectly legal.

I have just made my first purchase there, Fallout Tactics. I never got around to playing it, but always wanted to. It's a turn based squad game, which I tend to enjoy. It's also in the Fallout universe, which I love. What's not to like? For $6, I won't even feel like I've been ripped off if I don't like it - I figure I'll get more value out of other games I buy there to make up for it. :)

They ask you for your gender when you sign up. Here are the choices:

Guy
Dude
Gentleman
Chap
Bredda
Bad bwai
Lady
Girl
Hottie
Chixor
Grrl
Missy
Dawta
Funky Monkey
Jedi
Ninja
Pirate
Xippie

EDIT: My gender is "Ninja". It was a tough choice.
