I find it interesting that there is nearly nothing in non-dystopian science fiction in this list. I'd expect Jules Verne or HG Wells to make at least one appearance each. Another very notable missing author is Edgar Allen Poe (along with pretty much the entire horror genre). It's certainly an interesting set of books.
