Last night friends gathered after ultimate to play Munchkin Bites, carve pumpkins, and play some Bomberman. Guess which one is mine:
I woke up at 7:30 this morning to help brace for the 6 am wake up tomorrow for 6:30 rock climbing. Friday I went to the doctor and had blood drawn, urine sampled, and seven finger pricks to test for hypoglycemia and diabetes and all that stuff. I guess I am not hypoglycemic, but he said not to gorge myself on large meals and then fast in between, mulitple smaller meals are better and my body will stop freaking out. (I've been eating a big lunch then getting very dizzy two hours later). He said that basically I get a sugar low, so my body release sugar in the blood, then I eat and get overloaded with sugar, then insulin is produced to balance it, but it over does it, and then blood sugar is low and all that is making me dizzy. Stop shocking the system and I'll stop feeling the effects. Who'd a thunk it?
