Bike and swim.

Holy shit, first bike ride outside. Wiiiiiiiiiiindy! Uphill! Crap it sucked. It was one of those days that you would say "builds character". But thats the workout I need to get to progress at all on bike rides. I realize I have a LOT of work to do on the bike. Yikes! Anyhoo, nuff bitchin'.

Swim today was pretty good. Some hot chick got in and swam next to me pretty much right after I finished warming up. Pretty sure she was a Hawkeye swimmer, judging by the tigerhawk on her swim cap. But despite her being hot and swimming next to me, she made me look like I was doggy paddling. Well, about MY swim, warmed up with 350m, 250 free, 100 russian. Then I had 8x50 at race pace and 4x25 at 100% which was kinda fun. My race pace was a little above comfort level, and 4x25s all out at a reasonable pace. The killer part was 10 seconds of rest. Got through it though. Then I had 4x25 side kicking, which went swell, and 500 pulling to focus on hip rotation which feels kinda weird. But good day.
