I just realized how long it's been since I've updated this thing. I haven't really had the energy to do so until now. I've gotten more hours at Target, I've been researching grad schools in order to find out which ones I should apply to, I've been studying vocabulary like...well, like it's my part-time job, but I will be studying even more. I SUCK at vocabulary; it's more likely to mess me up than the math section. If you haven't caught on already, I'm studying for the GREs. I'm already registered and dreading it a little, but thank GOD, I decided to start studying right away rather than wait.
With all of the preparation I'm doing for graduate school, I've had less time to do what I want to do. It's fine, though, because it's GRAD SCHOOL. It'll be worth it. I just know it.
I've also been too lazy to start my movie blog (crazy, right?). I'm just always working and I really want to do very well on the GREs to make up for those sucky grades of mine. I'm also just too lazy to edit the videos and/or write about how awesome/awful a movie is/was. MY opinions turn into essays. I can't SHUT UP. hahaha.
As far as meteorology jobs go, the Maryland one hasn't called me back nor have the people from the University of Wisconsin (Space Science and Engineering Center...holy crap! :D), which I had most recently. I hate it when jobs say that they're going to call you back and then they don't.
I also had an interview with a woman from Sylvan Learning, Carol, about tutoring. During the interview, she made me feel like I was such an inconvenience. I don't know how else to explain it, but it seemed like I was in the way. *shrugs*
This interview was also 2 hours long because she forgot to mention that I'd actually be sitting in on TWO of these tutoring sessions. It was also in Penfield, which is like pfffffffffft...20-30 minutes away. So, when I asked her whether or not I could get a job at the tutoring center in Greece, she gives me the weirdest look, as if to suggest, "Well, why would you want to do that?".
Maybe because it's where I live...?
Wouldn't logic dictate that that's where I belong...?
So I'm kind of stuck right now as far as jobs go. I don't exactly know where I'm headed since no one seems to want to keep in contact with me as much as I call people.
HARRY POTTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I cannot WAIT for this movie. Oh, it had better be EPIC and closer to the books. Seriously. David Yates, you have TWO movies to get this right. TWO. You had better not fail us fans.
Merlin also makes me happy. OMG OMG OMG BUT HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE SERIES, CAMELOT?! Perhaps, I might actually get a SERIOUS TV show based on Arthurian Legend? *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*
That's about all I have, really. After this, I'll probably get started on vocabulary again. THAT or try to narrow down schools once again. This is going to be a loooooooong process, isn't it? I need to have all of this decided by mid-November anyway so that I can start sending out emails for Letters of Recommendation.
Busy, busy, busy.
P.S. I love the boys at Target. They make me so happy. They also remind me of my guy friends. It's great. :D
