So many boxes
+ Settlement went well. The condo is mine (and the bank's, of course). And I'm mostly unpacked. The only things left to unpack are boxes of books. But since I'm out of shelf space at the moment, there's no point to it. I'm also waiting for a key to the storage rooms -- the keys I got at settlement open the storage room on the wrong floor (oops!) -- so I can put things like holiday decorations, luggage, etc., that I don't use often away.
+ Family visited on Saturday and helped me unpack. I'll be finding stuff all over the place for the next month, wondering why on earth that was there. The Boy Uncle put up a ceiling fan and light; I'm not sure exactly what the problem was, but many bad words were said, and I think he was ready to rip it out of the ceiling at one point.
~ So many places to update with the new address. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I submitted a change of address to the post office, but when I checked my old address, mail had been delivered there still and nothing has arrived at the new place.
Back to work tomorrow. I'm glad I took today off to run some post-settlement errands, but I'm also ready to go back to work. And judging by the state of my work blackberry, it's time.
