The school year is coming to a close and I am looking foward to summer! Last week, I took the middle school kids to the Hochstein school of music for an evaluation and they did a wonderful job. They received a rating of Superior (the highest rating). I was very proud of them, and I think they learned a lot from the experience. I have 4 more concerts til it's all over and then I get my year leave from work. Darcy is actually gonna accompany my fiddle club at their last concert next week :-)

My lil sis graduated from college yesterday, so we went up Friday night...went to some reception, took Megs out to dinner, went to the casino, etc. It's such a bitter sweet experience. I was thinking back to my college graduation (which wasn't THAT too long ago).
My life is sooo different now, so different then just three years ago...which is strange. I really only talk to a few ppl from college. I met the Grillbillies, Darcy, and now I am about to begin an adventure...something I have wanted to do since I was a kid. Honestly, I never thought I would muster up enough courage to do it. To many, it wouldn't seem like a big deal, but it is to me. I have never lived far away from home...grew up in Fairport, went to naz, live in Canandaigua. The move to Canandaigua was a big stepping stone...even though it's only a half hour away from my family, it was a big deal. After I met Darcy, I didn't think I wanted to leave...I was gonna stay here, get my masters, and continue doing what I have been. After thinking over everything, I decided to continue with the plan. D and I would just have to do a long distance thing (which I wasn't looking forward to), but a short while after, he told me he wanted to go with me :-) So now, everything is working out :-) I am VERY excited, and can't wait to get down there...I hope it's a good experience, for both of us :-)

Looking forward to band practice/memorial day festivities this weekend :-) I am in the mood to play, and want to see my friends again. It should be a good time...weekend after that is Strawberry Park. I <3 that fest!!!!!!!!! Other then that, life is pretty much "happening", and I am incredibly happy.
