(no subject)
I'm out in LA and have been for a week now. I've been home sick.. missing friends and family, but LA has been a lot of fun and an adventure. Last week I went to San Diego with Erica and her coworker Molly. It was fun watching her run in the marathon (26 miles!) and it was her third. Unfortunately I got REALLY burned.. like blisters on my nose- it was really bad. This past week I started at the architecture firm in Culver City. My commute is about an hour.. thats right.. it takes 60 minues to go 18 miles. Yesh the traffic sucks and driving is tricky.. but totally do-able. It's also cool knowing that George Clooney's house is less than a 15 minute drive from Ericas place (he lives in Studio City on the Hill).. pretty awesome... On Friday I went to Young and the Restless with Erica. It was a lot of fun.. and I chatted with a really sexy new actor on the show.. and he's Scottish.. very hot. It was fun to see how everything works. I also went into the Price is Right Storage and I got to see all the old games.. and yes.. PLINKO! It was so cool. Then last night we saw Knocked Up. Really sweet and funny. Tonight we are going to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to see the Match Game Show. There are a bunch of well known comedians in it: SNLs Fred Armisen, Kids in the Hall's Scott Thompson, 30 Rocks Jack McBrayer and Best Week Ever's Doug Benson. Rob Cordry has a show playing every Friday this month and I really want to go to that at some point.
Now the big thing of today: I went Emmy dress shoping and didnt find anything.. but...!!!!
I saw/talked to Creed from The Office!! We parked the car and were walking in and I said "Erica that guy kinda looks like Creed" but he was far away and Erica was like "I guess he kinda does" and then we went to enter the mall and he caught up with us and I held the door open for him and he siad thank you (very polite) and It was %100 Creed.. It not only looked like him but he has an unusual voice. When Erica and I walked in the store she whipsered " That was definately Creed!" and we had this quite freak out. We could not be loud because he was behind us. So cool.
Ok.. Ill keep up with this....
