Coffee anyone? Try Bad Ass Coffee

I just realized something. Something was missing...other than the conclusion to my captivity story I started and left all of you hanging (and still will for another day yet).  But I realized that there are just too many different Starbucks around. Starbucks this...Starbucks that.  Most of their places you go into are packed with people that have no perception of what coffee really is. I went and drove by a Starbucks in Rockford today and made me want a coffee. Not from Starbucks, but rather another place in town. Bad Ass Coffee house. I really do enjoy this particular location for a number of reasons.

1.) Not too many people come here yet, it's still fairly new.
2.) The service here is 10000x better than any Starbucks you'll go into.
3.) No Venti or tall...it's small, medium, large.
4.) Did I mention the service is great?
5.) It seems the crowd is a little bit "older" and "mature"
6.) I don't care for Starbucks.
7.) The owner shops at my Staples store 30 miles away.*
8.) As many, if not more, choices for your coffee.
9.) It's in a bright inviting atmosphere.
10.) They have a plasma TV on the wall here to watch!
11.) And I think the coffee here is better tasting!

Those are my reasons I choose Bad Ass Coffee.

The Snickerlicious Frozen Latte is da bomb!

If you're ever in Rockford looking for a different coffee shop to check out...I recommend Bad Ass Coffee to anyone! And with a name like Bad Ass, how could you go wrong?!

Some people rate beer (ie.
gws57,
arnie40, etc..) I rate coffee. Yummers!

Disclaimer: This unofficial review of Bad Ass Coffee was NOT biased in anyway. Just because they shop at the store I work at. Doesn't mean they get higher priority. Their service and quality is something that is by far the best experience I've had with ANY place in Rockford. It is nice to see some places haven't forgotten about customer service. It's the fact that I wasn't treated as just another number as is so many places these days which is a refreshing feeling.
