taking care of a pair of 4-week old kittens is very different from a pair of 4-month old kittens... the babies need so much more work and it's really no walk in the park... really... Kittenhood is not easy because the kittens need alot of special care, more so than slightly older kittens.
When my hubby and I first bought our dog, we suddenly had to travel because someone in my branch office resigned (24 hours notice), and someone from hubby's US office passed away and we had to hit the road constantly, during the first month when our dog was (supposed to be) with us. The stress of getting my parents to care for him, the constant worrying (he had sensitive skin), the time zone difference (having to do skype with my papers to check on the puppy when I should be catching up on sleep) and then having teleconference with his vet and then beating myself up because i felt so guilty about not being home with my dog... all in all, very traumatising!
I guess even best intentions get messed up by this thing call - LIFE!
