I'm the bloody scorekeeper. If anyone's going to get hurt at a football game, it should not be me. Two of Torrey Pines' varsity players got carted off. All of our kids came out okay. As deserved, the referee in last Friday's Helix-Mt. Miguel football game was suspended for the rest of the season for throwing a football at a player during a fight that broke out between opposing players during the fourth quarter. Vendor Hell: At work, a vendor said they would sell us a chassis with an Intel shelf manager. Except they didn't say their definition of "with" is "you have to go buy it from Intel, because we don't have a reseller agreement with them yet." Last year, once the artificial turf was installed, Poway Pop Warner football started using the field at the high school again. Generally, this is a Good Thing™.
