A name change.

Now,  N.L. Mars is just a pen name that I chose years ago to be anonymous. Mostly, I didn't want kids from my school to be involved with my hobby. I was scared that if they were to google my name, then they'd find my blog and make even more fun of me at school. When I was in year 7 or 8, some particularly nasty kids posted stupid, fake crap about me on the web as a joke, which has helped in my decision to write under a pen name for most of my highschool life. I mean, why would I want those idiots finding my fanfiction and eventually original fiction and showing everyone? I was already fairly unpopular, and had a hard time making and keeping friends--especially when they decided it would be fun to bully me as well--so I guess you could say that I'm really shy about myself and my identity, even on the internet.

But, I'm fairly serious about this writing thing. And I've decided that when (yes, WHEN. I need to keep optimistic! :P) I get published, I want to do it under my real name. So, this is to tell all of you that on Monday, I will be changing my twitter username to @jlewenda and my LJ username to jlewenda as well. Because that's my name. Jessica Lewenda. Nice to meet you all. :)

I've been out of highschool and away from the petty drama that comes with it for over a year now. I think it's time to move on from that.

So yeah, just thought you guys should know. I hope you transition to jlewenda without any problems whatsoever.  :P
