It's 10:35 Saturday morning and already I feel like I've done a full day's work. The old man worked "dogs" last night so it was my night to go out and raise a little hell. Of course I'm paying for it this morning but isn't that always the case??? I've had a ham in the oven for nearly two hours, I've already gone to the store and bought wrapping paper for a baby gift for my friend Tisha's baby shower this afternoon . . . yes, this IS the same Tisha of tequilla shots "My Numbs Are Gum" fame. She's settled down quite nicely and is having a baby girl sometime in August, IF she makes it that far. She looks like she's either going to pop or float away like a cartoon character in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I crocheted her a nice baby blanket. Anyway, after that stop I went to two auto parts stores looking for the big air hose that goes from the air filter to the engine. I know what you're thinking. Didn't you just have $2,000+ worth of work done on your car this week??? Yes I did. The wonderful mechanics at the dealership failed to notice that said air hose had a gaping hole in it. Of course this hose was not available at your run of the mill auto parts store. No, I had to go back to said dealership. Incidently, the poor sucker that called ahead of me to see if they had the hose will be sorely disappointed when he gets there and realizes I bought the last one. Oh, yeah, the price . . . $123.23. That car better last another 100,000 miles!
