in turkey.
the stock market in Turkey almost crashed yesterday. the people with a lot of money predict a revoltion. and so do the other 2 million people who have been protesting around the country for the past week. and when i say 2 million, i don't mean combined. i mean on sunday, in taksim (my second home), there were 2 million people yelling for a change. elections are tomorrow. we'll see what happens.
and now america decided that the kurdish people should get their own nation. america is backing the kurds. america created the situation and is supporting the decision to take away the land that Turkey fought and died for. and this isn't like 1776 dying for a country, this is like "my grandfather died defending Turkey" kind of deal. So, if america gets their greedy way, and contine backing the kurdish, Turkey will go to war against the Kurds (most of which will die), and america.

everything we do effects the world. but it hits people here a hell of a lot harder.
i am finally REALLY realizing why the world hates us.
while they are worried about some third party world power (i.e. america) taking their own land and giving it to people that didn't fight for it, along with the fact that america is reopening a very slow-to-heal wound in the east of Turkey, all of america is absorbed with an escort scandal.
