I know...it's been a loooong time since I updated, and now I've decided not to use this journal as a journal, but as a critique of my favorite aspects of pop culture...my favorite shows, films, and movies. And we're gonna start with...
Casino Royale.
Warning: If you have yet to see the film and do not want to know details, DO NOT READ AHEAD.
So, let me first say...that despite all of those rumors that Daniel Craig was gonna be the worst Bond ever (and I even had my doubts) I must say...I think he may be my favorite Bond thus far. I really really really liked him. Even though he doesn't have the classically good looks about him, he's still a good looking guy. I liked him a lot. Eva Green as Vesper Lynd was also amazing. I really liked how she wasn't just another Bong girl, another sexy scientist who Bond sleeps with and forgets. This girl had more vulnerability about her, she was more to Bond than just a one night stand. I really understand how he became Bond by watching this film. I also loved that there was more of a love story. Like the lady behind me said "This was a girl's Bond." I loved it, loved it, loved it.
Oh, and I also saw the Harry Potter trailer that was with Happy Feet...and I've seen it five times as of tonight! Working at a movie theater has its benefits, let me tell you. That teaser is freaking amazing!
