I stole this from blondesongbird

Name 10 of your favorite Broadway/Off-Broadway/etc shows

1. The Phantom of the Opera/Les Miserables
2. Wicked
3. Miss Saigon/Aida
4. Jane Eyre/Jekyll and Hyde
5. Beauty and the Beast
6. Little Women
7. The Woman in White/Evita
8. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
9. Sweeney Todd
10. West Side Story

Have you ever seen these shows live? If so, where?
Yep ! I've seen Phantom, Les Miz, Wicked, Miss Saigon, Beauty and the Beast, and Joseph all on Broadway Tours...and I've seen Jane Eyre and West Side Story at local theater groups (Jane Eyre was done at Florida Thespians State Festival in 2006) and I've seen the film versions of Sweeney and Jekyll and Hyde.

What's your favorite song from play 2?
Tough ! I'd have to say it's a tie between "For Good" and "Defying Gravity."

Who's your favorite character from play 4?
Since this one was a tie, I'd have to say Jane from Jane Eyre and Lucy from Jekyll and Hyde.

What's your favorite scene from play 5?
I saw that when I was ten, so my memory isn't the best...probably "Be Our Guest."

What's your favorite lyric from play 3?
From "Miss Saigon" it's "So stay with me, and hold me tight, and dance...like it's the last night of the world." And from Aida it's "We all lead such elaborate lives...we don't know whose words are true. An affair of the heart survives all the pain this world can do."

From play 6, which character are you most like?
Probably Meg...possibly Jo.

Can you quote every line from play 1?
Uh...yeah!

How many times have you seen play 10?
Once.

If you could be anyone from play 1, who would it be? Why?
From "Phantom" I'd be Meg, simply because I really and truly love her character...even though she's in the background, I love her...and she doesn't have to face the hard decisions Christine faces! From "Les Mis" I would most definitely be Eponine, hands down...she's my favorite. But if not her, then Fantine.

What's your favorite song from play 9?
"A Little Priest" is absolutely the funniest song in the show, but I also love "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd."

What's your favorite quote from play 8?
"Close every door to me, keep those I love from me...children of Israel are never alone, for we know we shall find our own piece of mind, for we have been promised a land of our own!"

Out of all these plays, which one is your absolute favorite?
PHANTOM ! It is the most beautiful and tragic love story ever told, imo.

Who's the favorite Broadway actor?
Ouch...I guess Adam Pascal or Tim Martin Gleason...Norbert Leo Butz is kind of cool too.

Who's the favorite Broadway actress?
This one is even tougher...I cannot pick just one. Kristin Chenoweth, Idina Menzel, Lea Salonga, Linda Eder, Sutton Foster, Kelli O'Hara, Claire Moore,

What's the best musical they've turned into a movie?
Well my favorite is Phantom...but they did kind of butcher it in a way...RENT is okay...I really like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers or West Side Story.

Is there a musical you DON'T like?
Nothing comes to mind right now...I'm not too fond of Cabaret or Urinetown...or The Wedding Singer.

If so, which one? Why?
See above.

Do you think the movie versions are better, or the original Broadway plays?
Originals of course...that's probably never gonna change.

This or That:

The Producers or RENT
RENT, duh...funny as Producers is, I prefer plays that touch me more on a personal level or contain something tragic.

Wicked or Chicago
Wicked...I think that although the movie was good, Chicago as a play sucks.

Fiddler on the Roof or Oklahoma
Not a huge fan of either, but I do love them. I guess Oklahoma.

Thoroughly Modern Millie or 42nd Street
Most definitely Thoroughly Modern Millie.
