It doesn't weigh too heavily on Billy Batson's mind though. He jumps off his bike before it's come to a complete stop and locks it up to the rack outside. Gymbag over his shoulder he heads into Grant's Gym. Checking his workout book, it's lap swim for forty minutes and then shadowboxing and kata review. Black Canary's handwriting is all over the pages of his book with notes, reminders and illustrations. Some might consider it daunting, others might find it tedious. Billy however is both dogged and enthusiastic about it all. On one hand, he promised Dinah to follow her instructions unwaveringly. On the other hand, he's just psyched to be getting training from people like Black Canary and Wildcat! He's still in fanboy bliss over it and he's been at it for several months now.
Fishing his gym membership out of his pockets he flashes it to the front desk and heads inside. His eyes light up when he sees Ted. There’s a really pretty lady hanging on his shoulder right now, so rather than intrude he simply offers up an enthusiastic wave of ‘hello’ as he heads to the locker room.
