Patrolling in Gotham

Well, the Bug was supposed to stay in mothballs, but Ted's feeling the need for something resembling a patrol. He'll just stop people from robbing old ladies in downtown Gotham. He can handle that. Maybe he can break some bad guy's nose before Babs notices. Or the League decides to vote on whether he's allowed to or not ( Read more... )

The night was old, as the night was never young and it was a horrible description to make. Stars were hardly gleaming due to smog and the city's lights. The moon wasn't massive, but a white splotch in the sky and really doing nothing for the mood.

Crime didn't change anywhere, and though this was not Hub City, he still listened to Gotham's woes.

After breaking bones and taking out some of the variety of scum, he was dragging a flailing gangster behind himself by the ankle, who wept like a woman at a dramatic movie and worse. Likely due to his arms popped out of his sockets and the other leg being completely twisted in ways not meant for the human body.

The Question paused and tilted his head at Sight, even if it was giving him a dull headache more and more these days. Ted...?

He kept silent and watched, but kicked the whining young man on the ground to knock him out.

He had questions to write, and bugs to watch.

Ah, success. But then the kid had been pretty easy to punch in the teeth. Most people are when you sort of drop down out of nowhere.

He hands the woman her purse and she gives him a dollar.

Man...does he look that pathetic?

Yes, but rest assured, no one will tell Beetle that.

...Right away, anyway.

The Question kept to his silence, back to the Azure Avenger at the moment. He had gutted the criminal with a screwdriver. At the moment, he had used his hand as a paintbrush.

Left a question mark in blood. After all, this was such popular territory for these annoying gang members. A little fear never hurt anyone -- except those who deserved it.

He peeled the reddened glove off as he approached Beetle, tossing it over his shoulder before he went to fetch another one in his pocket. Keep spares, kids. Do your homework.

"What's with the spandex tonight?" was his curious question.

Ted glances over Vic's shoulder and the alley the other man's come from. "Do I even want to know what sick Resident Evil-ish things you did over yonder?"

Ted worked on calming down and breathing in and out steadily before answering.

"Not exactly. I need to get better meds."

Hrm. The brow area of his faceless features creased into a scowl as he approached. "Are you okay...?" He's speaking physically, of course. Question was expecting him to remain angry for awhile.
