Interview with a Scarecrow

Dr. Crane sits in his favourite Gotham City café; the Avec Fromage, and smiles in his usual crooked way at the girl next to him. Alice. Alice Logan. His pet, it would seem. She does seem to have her uses... She's got a vivid imagination, the screams she makes at night are enjoyable to him, and she makes a decent cup of tea. And her secretarial skills are also quite good.

He waits for the reporter, Lois Lane. Apparently she has already spoken with his associate, Mr. Nygma, and Crane has already been briefed on what he shouldn't say. He looks at Alice again. Must she constantly cling to his arm? He has never particularly enjoyed physical contact before, and her incessant squeezing him and looking at him with those doe eyes... Ugh.

Ah, and here is the lovely reporter from Metropolis's finest newspaper. "Lois Lane, do take a seat. I've taken the liberty of ordering us a pot of tea, some croque m'sieurs, and some pastries too." He gestures at the seat opposite.
