Thanksgiving is a busy time for Tim Drake, as he splits his time between his two families - as well as joining the Titans for a late supper whenever he can manage it.

Nevertheless, he'd never not be here.

Hey everyone! Himself made his appearance yet?

Dick has charge of his daughter once more, although if "charge" can be defined as, 'keeping an eye on her while she runs around the room, wound up by all these people being here'...

He waves from across the drawing room.

Hey, kiddo. Three guesses, and the first two don't count.

Mary makes her way over to her uncle. "Upperdown!"

Tim chuckles as he picks up his niece.

He'll come upstairs eventually. He always does.

Hey, pretty girl! How're you? Looking forward to some turkey for dinner?

Mary wraps her arms around Tim's neck and graces him with a sloppy kiss on the cheek.

"Churkey a dinner?"

-Turkey-, her father corrects, almost as a reflex action. It's his loss. We'll just get to eat the best part of the bird before he does.

That's right, turkey! Gobble gobble!

He smooches Mary right back, adding a raspberry to her neck for good measure.

If he takes too long, he may not get a decent share of the pumpkin pie either.

The motion elicits another happy shriek that echoes around the large room, and prompts her father to wince.

Banshee in training.

"Oh, I hope not," shudders Babs, raising a hand to massage her temple. "Maybe she'll get tired of playing with the echoes once we start eating?"

Mary lets out another shriek, then claps her hands wildly.

Hey, don't knock it! She's teaching herself how sound waves work.

Tim grins, leaning down to kiss his sister's cheek in greeting.

Hey Babs.

"Hi, Tim." She gives him a sisterly kiss of her own. "Enjoying life after high school?"

He nods

Finding my feet, slowly. Lots to think about, you know?

So many decisions, so many possibilities. Don't worry, kiddo. You've got time.

Mary recommences her wriggling.

This is true.

He wrestles with the toddler in his arms.

Hey, did I stop being entertaining? Well, we can't have that, now can we?

He proceeds to toss her gently into the air, about an inch away from him each time, nuzzling her nose with his as he catches her again.

Mary crows her delight at this maneuver, as her father looks around at the assembled guests so far.

You think Jason's going to show?

Tim frowns

Hard to say. He's not exactly comfortable at these things, after all.

He looks around, then blinks, his expression changing. Whoa.

What's the saying... speak of the devil, and he will appear?
