"I lose because you have powers." Bette mock sighs, "I could lift my head off the pillow. And, well, if you didn't mind me not moving..." The blonde chuckles.
Carefully, she pushes herself up off the bed and rolls over onto him. "See? I could... ow, ow, ow.... Mmmmmm."
He's warm and cuddly. It makes some part of her just want to curl up and go to sleep. She would be terrifyingly sore if she just let herself sleep now.
"I certainly accept cute, because that's about the highest status freckles can dream of achieving."
Another sharp breath sucked in.
"So... ahem... you'd best make up your mind. You want food now, or you want to be the Empress of Soretown? Because you're currently working your way to the latter..."
Looking up at Wally, she's grinning at him. "And here I thought you'd just lay back and enjoy." Bette chuckles softly, "I'd just hate to just ... leave you like this."
"What part of this isn't being considerate?" Another bite, a little further down the curve of his rib cage and a little harder. "I'm sure you can return the favor..." Bette shivers as she thinks about that idea and the forms it could come in.
"I'd ask you to do that speedy heal-y thing but last time... Well, my reaction would ruin the mood we have going here."
"It is nothing, nothing like hot if you've ever been in them."
Leaning over, Bette looks at the food for a few moments, trying to decide what she wants next. Coffee sounds good but a lot of effort right now. So, instead, she grabs a pancake, tearing it in half before taking a bite.
"So. How do you think this whole getting it out of our systems thing is going?" She's grinning. Oh, she's grinning.
She eats more pancake in silence for a few moments.
"I could get behind that plan." She hadn't entirely realized how hungry she was until she started eating. "There are things we haven't gotten to yet..."

Wally lifts his back enough for her to slide her arm out from beneath him.
His arms are stretched back and his hands are behind his head, relaxing. Proud. Borderline smug, but most certainly in a great mood.
He so enjoys being good at this. He almost wants a cigarette.
Not that he's not worn out himself. His hair is damp, and he's still catching his breath.
"I think I won."

"What? No way. No way." Bette laughs softly. "Unless you're... like counting numbers. I mean... I lost count in there somewhere."

"Nope, you lost. Because I'm ready to go again, and you can't lift your head off the mattress. Hell of a way to lose, though."

"Well, I don't want to put you in traction... so we might have to do it in installments, y'know."

"I see. What's on your mind, dirty bird?"
Hah, Ollie's a dork. There's no way that could ever sound natural...
