"I don't know, Doc. Perhaps we can call my mother together and discuss how her passive-aggressive behavior patterns are negatively affecting my chakras and my feng shui."
Ralph nods, steepling his fingers in front of his face. "That sounds like a great idea, I'm sure someday Allanah will read me the riot act, what with all the new age psychology they're developing. That, or you could cut yourself some slack."
"There's always ways to second guess. And being able think a thousand times faster than the rest of us probably means you've had about a thousand times as many what-ifs, I'm sure of it. And Starro is never routine, but you definitely can't blame yourself for anything that happened while under its control."
Ralph nods. "I can understand that. If you change your mind, the recovery and repair efforts, or at least patrols while resources are being pulled back could really use the Flash."
Ralph nods. "He could. And you could use getting back on your feet. And with so many people hurt, it'd do a lot of folks good to see you out there. We could all use all the morale we can get."
"Hey, I know I make the crippled thing look good, but you don't need to go trying to follow my fashion statement, kiddo."
