Dr. Mid-Nite had done his job, setting up the bones properly so that whenever the Flash felt up to it, he could speed-heal himself with no problems at all.
Flash hasn't felt up to it yet.
Instead, he's been staring at the ceiling of the medical wing of this weird new place that used to be the old place. Having barely said a word since having the Starro-thing removed from his neck.
Mind-controlled. Again. Last time, it destroyed his marriage and ruined his friendships. This time, it caused him to beat the hell out of his girlfriend, and her ex... and many of his friends.
He's pretty sure his undercover work with the Society is entirely compromised now, to boot... which could bring any number of psychos to his doorstep - to her doorstep, depending on how chatty Slade gets with his team.
He hasn't healed his own legs yet.
Maybe he doesn't deserve it. Maybe he needs to suffer more...
