yesterday was good, i guess.
i was working out when i got the call saying my senior picture previews were finally ready. my brother and i went out and picked them up, and initially, i wasn't thrilled, but now i like some of them a lot. then we went and picked up kill bill vol. 2 ^_^ who cares if i've seen it 4 times and own the soundtrack? then i came home and finished reading fight club, which is now one of my favorite books. i just really like his writing style. the story was a little screwy, as we all know, but it was awesome.
the only downside was ripping a hole in the ass of my favorite jeans bc the pocket caught on an armrest as i was sitting down. but it's all patched up now, huzzah.
i got to play poker at howie's (excuse me, brian's) house last night with a whole bunch of people. it was brian, brittany, me, seth, brittany's friend luke, will, two of will's friends, travis, cute trav, and two of cute trav's friends. and the sad thing is, i might actually be forgetting someone, but oh well. anyways, i ended up losing $5 by the end of the night, and cute trav ended up winning a bunch at our table. we were at the low-stakes table :P the funniest thing was, on my way out, i picked up all my food that i'd brought that no one had noticed, and was immediately jumped for it. well, not literally, but it all disappeared pretty quick. seeing as it was 12:58 when i left and i had a 1 am curfew, i ended up hauling ass in my dad's pickup while blasting elvis's #1 hits all the way home to pull up at 1:06. barely over curfew and setting a cross-town speed record? ya can't beat that.
