Last sunday Janine and I went for a walk from Berlin Schöneweide to Adlershof. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the former
Johannisthal Air Field, which is now a
large park. It's strange, because it consists mostly of gras, and reminds me of Oklahoma. :) It's very quiet though, and being there it doesn't feel like you're still in town. That's a good thing. And it is in fact beautiful.
Having passed the park, we arrived at the City of Science and Technology,
where we were greeted by large solar panels, which were automatically turning towards the sun, which we actually witnessed. Their movement was silent and seemed very light and it felt like there was a large invisible hand turning them around.
We then walked through the
Aerodynamic Park in front of the Physics building on
my University's Campus in Adlershof.
