winter in berlin
Weather.. isn't it exciting? This winter I started shooting pictures in Berlin when the first snow covered the city and didn't melt right away. I didn't know then, what extend this winter would take. Snow - not unusual for december/january you might think, so why make a fuzz about it? To me it is different this year, it's not the wet and dirty kind of snow (well it was, but only for a day). It's cold and icy, and although my face and ears felt the sting of the frosty air as I was riding my bike today, I like it. I feel totally peaceful. I even felt peaceful when I took the cover from my car and noticed that the windshield was frosted from inside. Just another opportunity to take a picture ;) Last night we had about -20°C and Europe is experiencing the new ice age. Maybe this year I'll find the time to go play some ice hockey on the Müggelsee or so.
