finally friday.
THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU. Friday, the end of the very busy week. Tomorrow, I can catch up on some much-needed bummerazzi. This week has been one of the most rocky (yet interesting) ones this month --- then again, it's just the start of the month now, isn't it?
Despite by usual bout of sickness, I've been reduced to taking antibiotics just to avoid it happening all over again. Great. I'm taking little over-the-counter drugs a.k.a Amoxycillin. :P
For some reason (boredom's my first guess), I suddenly developed this habit of watching GMA shows from the hours of 9-10:30. Mostly, to watch Encatadia and All About Eve. I'm trying to break it. Despite the special effects of Encatadia, it might distract me from other important things... But the show reminds of a series I read when I was younger, the title was something like: "The Four Princesses". They were also in charge of their own jewels, and elements e.g. Sapphire for Water, and so on and so forth. Speaking of school, I CAN'T WAIT! Finally, something productive do to for a whoooole week --- like my week ain't enough.
In my opinion, I have a lot to be thankful for this week. One of which, I'll keep to myself... but let's just say I got something that I reallyyy reallyyy wanted --- despite the many fallthroughs and that certain instance where I nearly lost my head (figuratively :D), and my mood became a bit off... I'm really happy. Another thing (petty, but praiseworthy to the (hopefully) good voters of America)... SCOTT'S OUT OF AMERICAN IDOL!
Rep-wise:I have another animal crew! HARDEEHARHAR. It never ends with me now, does it? I have a turtle, a unicorn, a T-Rex, a floppy-eared creature and if you know me... you'd probably want me to stop harping on this. ;)
Oh yeah, our final production is on May 30, 2005 at Eastwood. It starts at around 7 and will end 8:30ishy. If you guys want tickets, YM/post a comment!
Debate-wise: We had crosstraining with Ateneo and Poveda last Tuesday. For some reason, the adj who was usually... "frank" was actually nice. EH? The motion was: "THW ban softdrinks and junkfoods in schools". It was a pseudo-Asians debate, Jan and I were the only ones on Opp... *sniffles* But we did pretty well. I'll just have to remember to remember the "web of causes".
The debate training on Thursday... I was sort of off that day. Let's put it this way, I'm not the most aggressive debater you'd know, but I wasn't as aggressive as I ought to be. In other words, I better work on being mataray and try to build up debate hype even when I'm a bit sleepy.
Home-wise: HRMPH.
Over-the-border-wise: Still waiting for all you people to come back. "Don't forget my maple leaf!" :D Missin' you guys already.
*Maple leaf: Traditionally known as one of the common decorum adorning trees in Canada. However, in true Julism fashion, the term can be taken as pasalubong.
