Clients are so nerve wracking! They demand we get things done early, and then sit on their butts when they need to get us stuff. I could have this entire project out the door today, if they would just give us the stupid lists of pages that need to packaged to the printer and online vendor. Bah!
Loooong volleyball board meeting last night. Too long winded and too many tangents. Who would think there would be so many politics in a 5 member gay sports board? Again, bah!
I also found out that my volleyball team on the gay league has found my replacement. They said that he is just temporary, until I can come back full time. I was really shocked. And saddened. It makes sense, I guess, but I never thought they'd find a replacement. We have 7 on our team, so I figured they'd play the short winter season with 6 and I could just come back in the summer. They say it's OK for me to come back and the new guy (who is better than me, btw) is just a temp, but once a person leaves it's hard to get back into a team. Stupid having to work so much.
Still kinda sick, not sure if this is from the basement cleaning or not.
