CanGames Schedule Updated, Snafu Still in Place

Mar 21, 2013 11:15

I just saw that the gaming and events schedule for CanGames 2013 has been updated this morning.

Unfortunately for me, the schedule does not reflect the corrections that I needed to have made to the games that I'll be running there this year. While I will be running the Primeval RPG games that are scheduled on the Friday and Saturday evenings, the Heirs to the Lost World RPG sessions scheduled for Saturday and Sunday afternoon have not been cancelled and replaced yet with the a|state RPG games instead. Hopefully, this will be updated for the next version of the schedule (whenver that will be).

For those interested, here's the blurb that will hopefully be in the schedule sooner rather than later.

Dangers on a Train
Game: a|state RPG
Time: Saturday, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Number of Players: 5
Description: Due to illness and absenteeism, you have been taken from your normal duties in the Transit Militia to perform ordinary foot patrol. Will your own personal agendas and the paranoia that goes along with the job allow you to do your duty, or will you face the danger that is routine on this job and possibly pay the ultimate price? A scenario for the the public presents only to have utter disaster strike? An adventure for a|state, the post-apocalyptic Dickensian dystopian science fiction rpg set in The City.

In the meantime, I'm just annoyed about this and am hoping that I can still get a few players for the a|state RPG games pre-registered once the schedule is corrected, as I find that when the sign-up sheet for the games goes on the tables half an hour before, it attracts last-minute sign-ups if there are already a few names on the sheet(s) in question. Folks pre-registering for games is really preferable. I'd rather have a full table of players before the convention starts, though folks can still pre-register for a game at the convention as well.
