Morning, Health, and TV Viewing Last Night

Another somewhat cold day in Ottawa, though it snowed last night. My back did not thank me for cleaning the car off this morning, let me tell you.

I've got a bit of a sore throat and a cough this morning, and hope to heck that I didn't catch the bug that the girl at the haircut place had. I just don't need to catch something, since I always seem to get bugs in severe manners, and the diabetes doesn't help with the fighting off and recovery from colds and the like. My sprained ankle is all right, though still sore, but I keep icing it and that keeps the swelling down and has made it possible for me to accomplish what I need to do. Life goes on. So I am at work.

I watched the series finale last night of Emily Owens M.D. last night, and have to say that I'm disappointed that the series is done after 13 episodes. The series was very different from the Grey's Anatomy stuff, the characters were more interesting, and the medicine was much more realistic in feel and style (or so I found). Sad the series is gone.

Also watched the eleventh episode of Season One of Primeval: New World, and have to say that this was my least favourite episode of the entire run so far, though it did have some interesting moments to it. I'm not sure I like the direction the series has gone with this episode, and it's going to take me a few days to digest, so my review of the episode will be delayed a bit. All I can say is that the two-part season finale better be really good. (Though it may not matter, as there's still been no word of the series being renewed for a second season.)

For now, back to work.
