This afternoon was my usual Sunday afternoon game.
I have not been so...disappointed, so frustrated, gaming-wise, in a long time.
Without going into any detail per sé, the group is playing the
Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space roleplaying game, and played the third episode of a scenario called "The Phoenix Murders". The game itself is one that is not conducive as it were to physical combat, although there are times when such does occur, but by and large is a roleplaying game.
So you can imagine my frustration, and the frustration and annoyance of another player, when a second player just can't do social actions or actually figure out a way to talk to a large group of passengers aboard the star liner that they're travelling aboard. Suffice it to say, the last third of the game session left a seriously bitter taste in my mouth, and I have no idea how to proceed with the scenario next weekend.
feh Perhaps I'll just run the demo of the
Desolation game that I need to get ready for
CanGames...
