Getting Ready for Sunday Afternoon Gaming
Today is shaping up to be another typical late September day here in the Ottawa valley with mildly warm temperatures, a good deal of sun, and a bit of a breeze outside. The temperature is going up to a high of 23oC outside, and is currently at 21oC as I write this. A moderately high AQI (Air Quality Index) for the day is causing me a bit of breathing difficulty, so I'm not likely to be going outside at all. I'm feeling pretty tired today after yesterday's grocery shopping and errands, am hurting a good deal in the right shoulder and the right abdomen/thigh/leg area. Feel like I didn't get a lot of sleep last night at all.
I'll be gaming with the Sunday afternoon group today; the players should be arriving within the next hour or so. The gaming group is back down to two players with SteveR and Tammy, as Caroline has dropped out of the group. I'm looking forward to gaming today, but as mentioned am somewhat tired and a little bit nervous.
The players will be continuing on with their current case file for the Rivers of London: The Roleplaying Game campaign today, continuing on from where they left off two weeks ago. Quite looking forward to running the game this afternoon, and should be fun.
In the meantime, I need to get my act together for the day and get ready to run the game. Then relax for a few moments.
