Friday Night Game Session Cancelled
Today is Friday.
Tonight would have seen a gaming session with the Friday players this evening.
However, that isn't going to happen tonight. It is exactly one week until the local gaming convention here in Ottawa, CanGames, 2024, begins, and the Friday night players have informed me that gaming is off tonight so that I can relax and/or do some work to get ready for running the three games I'll be running at the convention next weekend. Throw in the fact that Sunday is Mother's Day, and I suspect that my gamers have some arrangements to make for that day as well. So gaming is off tonight.
I was quite looking forward to gaming with the Friday night players this evening, as I was going to continue on with the current adventure for the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game tonight, but that's not happening. To be honest, I can't say that I'm overly upset with not gaming tonight, as I'm stressing somewhat about running the games next week at CanGames due to some Real Life(tm) stuff that's going on right now. So the night off from gaming is welcome.
Anyway, looking forward to running the game again in a couple or three weeks from now.
