Getting Ready for Sunday Afternoon Gaming

Oct 30, 2022 12:04

It's a relatively cool October day here in the Ottawa valley, with a somewhat clear sky with a good deal of sun, though it is a bit windy out, and a temperature expected to reach 13oC today. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, due to pain and seriously bad nightmares, not to mention the lingering effects of the concussion I've still (obviously) got and the lingering side effects of having had two pneumonia and one flu shot on Wednesday. Just feeling very tired and a bit achy.

I'll be gaming with the Sunday group today, and am looking forward to it for the most part. We'll still be taking health precautions this afternoon, of course, as everyone wants to game but knows we have to play it safe in this time of COVID-19 and the sixth (or is it the seventh?) wave of the Omicron variant of the virus.

This afternoon, the Sunday gamers will be starting their first scenario for the Vaesen - Nordic Horror Roleplaying RPG. Quite looking forward to the start of the adventure, though I am going to be winging much of it. :)

Time to head upstairs.

Have a good day, folks. :)
