Getting Ready for Friday Night Gaming

Apr 29, 2022 18:02

It's been a pretty decent day here in Ottawa today, with the temperature reaching about 13oC, with lots of sun. I'm still somewhat ill with the bronchitis, but the antibiotic has started to take effect (though it's been wreaking havoc on my bowels).

I spoke to the Friday night players, and they've all agreed that we'll be gaming this evening and see how things go with my health and my voice. So I'll be gaming with the Friday night gaming group this evening; the players should be arriving within the next hour or so. I'm looking forward to it. With the rise in the number of cases of the Omicron COVID bug (and the appearance of the new variant and the reduction in restrictions and some of the mandates), the Friday night gamers want to play this evening, but we'll be taking the appropriate health precautions tonight as the group decides on when they get here, as per usual. I'll likely wear a mask gaming this evening and whether the players do so as well will be a game time decision. Everyone wants to game, but knows we have to play it safe in this time of the continuing pandemic. And our own ongoing health concerns.

Tonight, the Friday night gamers will continuing on with their Atlantis: The Second Age campaign and this terrific sword & sorcery rpg. Quite looking forward to this. :)

In the meantime, I need to go upstairs and make some supper.

Have a good evening, folks. :)
