Home From the Hospital
Just got home from the Ottawa General Hospital.
Had my hip biopsy today and am...hurting, but drugged somewhat still.
I got to the hospital around 6:45 am or so, and after filling in the required forms and the like was prepped for the biopsy, given the medications that are provided for such occasions, and then taken in for the procedure. The biopsy was done around 7:21 am (or so the nurse told me later), and then I spent some 3 (??) hours or so recovering in a pretty comfy hospital bed.
I've been home for some 20 minutes or so now (I think), and have no desire to eat though I've had a bit of water with some good pain pills and a cup of tea. Going to head to bed now and lie down, as per the doctor's instructions, and sleep for a while. Will see how I feel later on today.
