Another day, another dollar.
The last couple of days have been relatively quiet, and I've been just trying to keep my cool, do some stuff that I want to do (rather than what I have to do), and just enjoy life a bit over the course of this week.
Work continues to be the hassle that it's been since the whole fiasco with the current translation job came up on Sunday. The project is now a month behind, the boss and powers-that-be are seriously annoyed, but there's nothing that can be done about this other than to soldier on, and try and get the job done.
The only event of note over the last couple of days was yesterday's concert. Kathy surprised me in the morning, telling me that they had swung some tickets for an unofficial concert by the boys of
MonkeyJunk at a little, out-of-the-way venue here in Ottawa, so we went to that last night. Good show, great blues music, and lots of fun. Got home around 11:20 pm or so, and had a good night, but as can be imagined, I'm somewhat tired this morning. A good tired.
I've got to spend a bit of time over the next day or so and get some work done on the adventures for the Friday and Sunday gaming groups insofar as their current
Atlantis: The Second Age RPG campaigns are concerned, so that's stuff I'll do when I get home today.
For now, a cup of peppermint tea and back to the work thing.
