Friday Thoughts Heading Into Long Weekend
Today is Friday, the start of a long weekend here in Canada as it's a civic holiday.
I woke up this morning feeling somewhat...tired, but otherwise alright despite the complaints I currently have health-wise.
Even though it's a long weekend and I could have taken today off, I decided to go into work for most of my usual day, as that will make my boss somewhat happy since a lot of folks are taking the Friday off as well. Besides, it gives me a chance to get some office work done without a lot of other folks around vying for my attention. I've got a bit of a headache at the moment, so not listening to a lot of music here at work, and with most of the staff gone (only Donna and a couple of other folks and the boss are here this morning), the relative quiet is bliss. :)
Once work is done for the day, I've promised myself that I'll do a bit of work in the late afternoon on getting to run some Atlantis: The Second Age stuff done for my own games, as I'll be running once more next weekend. Then, this evening, I'm looking forward to Nick's game of Hollow Earth Expedition, as he wraps up his July game. Can't wait.
However, for now, a cup of peppermint tea, methinks.
