I've just returned home after a long day.
While I went to work this morning, I had an appointment at the doctor's office again today to find out what the MRI results were, and also figured I needed to get to a bank to check a few things, and then go for a haircut, as I've been a bit shaggy over the last little while. On top of that, I'm still fighting whatever the infection is that I've got, which may or may not be getting worse.
In any event, the appointment with the doctor was not all that satisfying. There's still no answers. He had received one of the two MRIs, the one that was done on the left ankle up to the knee (which was the second MRI done on the 29th of March), but still didn't have the one from the 22nd of March (which was the ankle itself). He read the report, but told me that he couldn't actually interpret what the results were, other than the fact that there is something wrong with the ankle or with the muscles and tendons of the region, and that the person who prepared the report suggested that I be referred to a rheumatologist immediately. So now that's got to be scheduled. The good news is that I don't have a detectable infection in my ear (at least not with an ear scope), but he could see that the left side of my head below the ear is swollen (affecting the rest of that side of my face), and that my chest didn't sound too badly congested.
Otherwise, the day went as expected. There was no good news at the bank on what I've been waiting for, and I had a good haircut which will last me until the week before the Victoria Day weekend and
CanGames. As I constantly joke about the haircuts, I feel a couple of pounds lighter. :)
For now, I need to get off the ankle which is absolutely painful at the moment, and I'm going to have a cup of tea.
