Long Hours

I worked my first 11 hour shift yesterday in an Emergency Room, which really ends up being something of like 12 hours because I arrived early and then had to stay twenty minutes late to finish up with the patient I started. The hard part is that the shift stated at noon and ended at 11pm. I have to completely change my sleep schedule. But

12 hour shifts mess up your sleep schedule like mad, but it's nice to have the extra days off :) What ER are you at? I'm glad you like it...personally I didn't care for my ER rotation but that was just me.

I'm at Lockport Memorial Hospital, so in addition to the 12 hours of work it's at least a 45 minute drive each way
