(no subject)
Hmmm, yeah, its been a long time.... And will probably some time longer between now and whenever I get around to this again.
Now that I have less than a month left in Macon before I'm off to Annapolis and St. John's, everything is spinning. I get home from a long day of work and stress and have to hop to it again as soon as I get home so I can get things ready to go. Good thing I'm not taking much this time around, just the basics: computer, clothes, television, refrigerator, printer, certain few books, and a few other daily necessities, as well as my bedding. Moving is a bonifide nightmare. And, I confess, I'm a little bummed about leaving home. I love living at home. I could live at home, in harmony with my family, forever and never tire of it. I wish I could take my house and my family with me to Annapolis. I hate being away from home for extended periods of time--I feel like I'm missing out on the best years of life with my family. I'm trying to get Jonathan to move with me, but he has plans to open a skate shop in Savannah, so if that doesn't work out he's promised to consider coming to live with me in Annapolis.
So, that's that.
I saw Gracen last weekend in Montgomery, and the weekend before last she was here in Macon. Birthday celebrations. So, hearty congratulations to Kate and Gracen on your birthdays.
This coming Saturday is my Pop's birthday. Next year he will be 50. I love my Dad. He's so great. Lots of fun.
